1. The fonts Gael AX Unicode and Gael AX Unicode Bold do not have
"small-s-with-dot-above" character encoded to unicode $1E61, but only to
$1E9B. In Gael BX Unicode and Gael BX Unicode Bold (where it has a
different shape) it is mapped to both $1E61 and $1E9B. It is important that
it is mapped to $1E61 in all four fonts. Quant à $1E9B, I prefer not to map
anything to this character (or to $017F or to $027C) in any Gaelic font, but
it does not really matter.
2. The fonts Gael BX Unicode and .Gael AX Unicode Bold have
"small-w-circumflex" mapped to both $00F0 and $0175, while Gael AX Unicode
and Gael BX Unicode Bold map it only to $0175. I think it should be mapped
only to $0175 in all four fonts. Also "big-W-circumflex" is mapped to both
$00D0 and $0174 in Gael AX Unicode Bold but only to $0174 in Gael AX Unicode
and Gael BX Unicode and in Gael BX Unicode Bold. I think it should be
mapped only to $0174 in all four fonts.
3. Tuamach Unicode sets more tightly than Tuamach, see the attachments,
which were made under the same conditions. I do not know which is the
better, but I would like to understand why there is a difference. I notice
that Tuamach Unicode lacks the 'hdmx' table, and I wonder if this explains
4. I am unable to download "Celtic Gaeilge Unicode". On the
English-language font page, the link is to the wrong font (Gaeilge Unicode).
On the Breton and French language font pages, the link seems to be correct,
but it does not allow a download. Instead, the file is opened for reading
in the browser (IE 5.5). If it is saved from the browser, it is not a valid
